A nice sunny morning today, but one with lots of signs of change ahead.

We started out with a sunny, spring morning today, although the clouds are starting to move in and the wind is currently picking up.

Snow keeps trying to fall this morning, with big, fat flakes drifting down even as the sun peeks out from time to time.

The sun's out in Myoko today, although the top of the peaks are covered in clouds.

I had to get out early to climb today - a good chance to see what things were like after an evening of snowfall and some high winds down a bit lower than the ski areas. So late, but here we go!

The rain ended sometime during the night, with a nice dusting of fresh snow by the morning.

Things aren't looking very wintery today; the wind has been howling all night and into the morning, it's warm and rain seems very likely.

It has been a sunny day in Myoko; things were getting pretty spring-like out there -- crumbling snow walls, some soft snow in places, hard in the shade.

Yesterday was one of the classic Myoko snow days. So much snow, and it kept on coming.

After a nice, sunny Friday, the snow really turned on yesterday, with -- what should we say? 50cm? 70cm? I was skiing in it, so I'm allowed some hyperbole.

For the record, very heavy snowfall. Update coming tomorrow.
