Morning from Madarao and it's another of those fine and sunny ones with blue skies. Nice.

As expected a nice new layer of snow on the slopes this morning. The resort is reporting 10cm and I am measuring 14cm so far, and counting.

It is very different this morning - there's not much to see at all with very limited visibility.

It has been snowing for such a long time now it feels strange that it has stopped. And is that the sun?!

Another foot of snow since the report yesterday and we will be getting more today though it is expected to ease off somewhat as we finally get past this strong winter storm.

Hello from Madarao where we're dealing with more (and more) snow.

The heavy snowfall has continued over the last 24 hours and it's almost getting difficult to keep up with it all.

Nature is being very kind to the region at the moment. The news this morning is the dumping of half a metre of snow on us with (quite a lot more due) to come today and tomorrow.

It's another good one with a good layer of fresh snow, more falling and more on the way over the weekend.

I must admit I was expecting more, but just another 5cm of snow to report this morning. And this morning the snow clouds are still with us.

It is a good one with a lot to look forward to as well.

I'm measuring 5cm of fresh snowfall this morning; the resort itself is reporting 5-10cm on the slopes.

A bit of fresh snow on the ground this morning but not much to see as there has been thick fog around.

Strong winds caused a few issues yesterday (in particular the Number 13 lift) but it was all in the name of fresh snow.
