More snow. And lots of it. It just keeps on coming.

Another foot of snow since the report yesterday and we will be getting more today though it is expected to ease off somewhat as we finally get past this strong winter storm. If the forecasts are correct there should even be clearer skies and sunshine above us tomorrow which should make for perfect conditions in all respects.

Don't worry though (not that you are with what we have received this last week!), but after that snow is due to return Friday-Saturday.

On a serious note the resort has made a note asking visitors to stay within the resort boundaries at the moment. We've had a really huge amount of snowfall over the last week. Conditions are deep - really, that's not just a marketing word! - and potentially in places extremely dangerous. Poor visibility certainly is not helping either. The resort is doing a fine job working with the snow on the official course areas, and the snow quality is excellent. For the moment at least it is very wise to remain and have your fun in those areas.

Looks like the Number 3 lift is resting, taking a break from coping with all the snow perhaps. The Number 13 lift is due to open but may be late.
