It's light snow this morning in Madarao and light snow forecast for the day... possibly heavy snow overnight tonight.

Perhaps less fresh snow on the ground than I expected to be reporting this morning, but there's another fresh layer out there.

The forecast yesterday warned of rain but when I got back to Madarao in the afternoon it was snowing which was good to see.

Curious one this morning with the reports of fresh snow from the resort itself. They are reporting 20cm of fresh snow since yesterday on their daily Japanese report.

After a clearer early morning start to the day, light snow is falling now though we're not expecting much in terms of new cm -- and possibly conditions to clear again during the day today.
