Good morning to everyone from Madarao.
I was away from Madarao all day yesterday and in Nagano city - it was unseasonably warm. I have just made my way back to Madarao and was pleased to see just under 5cm of snow on the ground. (Sasuga Madarao!)
It has been a cloudy start to the day though there is some sun peeking through the clouds at the moment and perhaps we will see the clouds moving on as the day progresses...
The winds of yesterday have eased off as well and it looks like it should be a generally calm weekend.
Nighta tonight with fireworks from 9pm!
(Next snow due on Monday but it might rain in the day before that happens as temperatures warm up a bit once more).
