Morning from Hakuba where we have some fresh snowfall for the beginning of the weekend.

Some more snow to report with up to 5cm at base levels and some resorts reporting 10-15cm higher up.

With resorts around the valley this morning reporting 20-30cm on upper slope areas and a good 10cm reported from base areas, it should be great conditions out there early on.

It was a fine day yesterday though after the beautiful blue sky start to the day, clouds started appearing from around lunchtime.

Good morning from Hakuba where there's another 5cm on the ground and more (quite a lot more) on the mountain.

It's snowing again.

A very good morning to you from Hakuba, where there has been another 15cm of fresh snow fall by my place since my report yesterday morning.

Heavy snowfall! Just how good are those words? Music to my ears.

Resorts reporting 20-30cm on the mountain and a good layer down in the village as well.

Morning from Hakuba and again this morning resorts reporting 1-5cm of snow on their slopes.

Snow was falling for much of the day yesterday on mountain and this morning resorts are again reporting some new cm of fresh.

Yesterday was a fine day weather wise. Some nice blue skies and clouds, with more of the clouds gathering later in the day.

A few cm or so of fresh snow perhaps on the mountain during the day yesterday and there were some good conditions to be enjoyed up there.
