Just a little snow yesterday, basically on and off during the day, and then cloudy overnight.

The snow has stopped. But only after snow throughout the day yesterday and another significant amount to report.

The snow is just not letting up!

Another impressive amount of fresh snow this morning. The ski area reports 73cm since yesterday on upper areas. Most of that was during the day yesterday.

Suitably ridiculous amounts of snow have been falling here since my report.

Nearly 25cm of fresh snow at base this morning and the ski area reporting a very Geto Kogen-like 36cm higher up. It is a good morning.

Things can change very quickly. Take yesterday and this morning as a good example.

Yesterday was a mix of generally fine weather conditions with clouds moving in later on, but we are back to snow this morning and hopefully for the day.

With another 10+cm at base and a little more on the mountain, Geto Kogen will be open from this morning.

It is a good morning too, with over 20cm of snow down at base since yesterday morning. Slightly less exciting to report is a period of rain yesterday evening.

This is to record the 5cm at base.

There has been some more snow since yesterday, 5-6cm down at base and 13cm is being reported by the ski area.

After the sleet and kind of miserable stuff yesterday morning, it turned into snow.
