It keeps on coming down, it remains windy and perhaps only for the braver. Real care is required in these conditions.

An impressive Geto-like dump since yesterday - 70cm on upper areas. That was a result of it snowing all yesterday and overnight and heavy at times too.

Back to some bigger numbers with the ski area reporting 45cm on upper areas and there's a good 30cm or so around base.

Yesterday we ended up having a day of cloud with some clearer weather. It was a calm way to end 2022.

We have had about 15cm of new snow since yesterday, most during the day yesterday.

Yesterday was a day of snow and wind... and we are starting off with a similar picture this morning.

Back to some fresh snow! The ski area this morning is reporting over 30cm of fresh since yesterday.

After a fine day yesterday, this morning we have a kind of cloudy morning. Just a little snow to report overnight.

Good morning from Geto Kogen. We start with some blue sky and cloudy. A fine morning.

Another modest amount of snow this morning. 5cm around base and apparently 10cm higher up.

It started snowing overnight and it is snowing this morning. Up to 12cm is reported by the ski area and I have 4cm to report from base.

We don't have a huge amount of fresh snow to report this morning, but 630cm of snow by Christmas Day ain't nothing to scoff at!

'Only' another 40cm down at base with the ski area reporting 55cm up top.

It started as rain, but overnight we have 15 plus cm of fresh snow on the ground and some blue skies now. Should be a very fine morning out there.
