The weather continued to blast Furano with fresh snow overnight and during the day.

It is snowing heavily this morning and there is 9cm of fresh snow in the Kitanomine village.

Furano Ski Resort will start operating from this morning.

The snow continued through yesterday dumping another 20cm as of this morning.

It has been a warm lead into winter and just a couple of days ago it was +16c.

The winter conditions continue in Furano. It is snowing moderately and there is 11cm of new snow on the ground.

After yesterday's report was posted the front continued to dump snow and a further 9cm fell during the day.
