Hello and welcome back.
Suddenly it is all white across the region. This morning has brought the first proper winter blast of the season.
It is currently -1c which is a total contrast to the +16c of yesterday. It is snowing moderately and there is 5cm of fresh snow on the ground at base level.
Furano Ski Resort has a target opening date of 25 November 2023 subject to snow conditions.
The week ahead has more snow forecast so the countdown to having the first runs of the season is on.
