We have a lot of cloud around this morning but some glimpses of blue sky in places too. Hopefully a fresh dose of snow will be with us from Monday.

Snow is coming down nicely now and we should have it for the day. Sun is forecast over the weekend. Should be fun!

Snow eased off for much of yesterday in the day time and we had some sun at times, too.

Just a quick pre-season note to keep our snow depths ongoing. It did snow through the day, and very lightly now, but we only got about 17cm of new.

We still have snowy skies over the region, but not a huge amount of fresh to report since yesterday.

Good snowy news once again this morning as the early season shapes up nicely - for now, anyway. (Don't want to jinx it!)

All sorts going on at the moment now that snow has arrived, but the main thing is that all five of the ski areas on the mountain are now part open from this morning.
