There was a bit of 'oh no, rain' feeling going on, but this morning the outlook is much better so we can put that to one side.

This morning we have some blue sky above a thick bank of cloud around the mountains, but visibility looks at least ok to pretty good at higher elevations at 8am.

Snow yesterday without much wind.... a good day and over 30cm more snow on the mountain.

Morning and another gradual delivery of fresh snow.

Hoo-eee, cold one last night! Down to -19 C. For Furano-ites, -20 C is the cutoff between COLD and cold.

Ah, it's very good to come back to a very snowy Madarao.

It is snowing and I have 5cm on the top of my car this morning.

Unfortunately, not as much snow as hoped for, at least at the lower elevations. Up on top they are reporting 30 cm, which is darn fine.

Cloudy skies at the start of the day with earlier snow easing off for now but it might be back.

It should be fresh out there early on!
