A puff of new snow. Promisingly cloudy, but no real snow forecast for another week.

It is still snowing! A bit windy too with the snow being blown around when I was out just earlier. Webcams show a rather mid-winter picture, too.

There's a bank of cloud covering the top section of the mountain this morning but a curiously bright lower section.

Another bright morning here with quite a lot of cloud, with blue sky and some sunshine.

We have light snow falling earlier on this morning but it has eased off, here in Hasuike anyway, and just cloudy now.

Just under 15cm to report from base this morning.

The ski area is reporting 50cm. I can't report as much from my own personal observation, but still a lot.

Moderate snowfall outside my window now. Lots of it, being blown around too.

We did have a bit of snow falling yesterday afternoon, but it didn't amount to much of anything. Where I was, anyway. I can just about justify the 1cm in this report.

Talk about a turnaround from the start of January; we’re ending the month with, well, almost too much snow (can’t happen! you say... oh there’s a lot of snow to move around out there).
