Good morning skiers & boarders,
A puff of new snow. Promisingly cloudy, but no real snow forecast for another week.
Today is Day 1 of the Bonchi Powder Festival, kicking off at 6:00 PM in the Gondola parking lot. Tonight features taiko drum, traditional local dance featuring brave shirtless men, a bonfire, and a firework show at 8:00. There will be a ton of food booths from local restaurants so you can just have dinner there.
Day 2 features a milk drinking contest, Japanese hip-hop, and the Jinbajin World Championships!!
