We have light snow falling earlier on this morning but it has eased off, here in Hasuike anyway, and just cloudy now.
Yakebitaiyama reporting 2cm very early on this morning.
Quite bright and good visibility. Over at Kumanoyu there is some blue sky emerging from the clouds.
It's quite windy too, but ski areas seem to be opening as normal.
Maybe more snow over the coming days at times, but not likely to be much and we may even get to see some sunshine.
