After that short blast of winter (snow, wind and poor visibility), we are back to clearer skies this morning.

The sun is out and it's going to be a fine day. Lots of people lined up for the first lifts as well, heading up for those first tracks. And why not, indeed.

Yesterday was quite cloudy all the way through, with spells of sunshine and then clearer skies in the evening.

Ladies and gentlemen and boys and girls. It is one of those mornings when you just have to take a moment or two to look around and take in the beauty of our surroundings.

Well, the faithful who remained until the end of the Kitanomine season have been rewarded with 10-15 cm of fresh snow overnight.
