Good Morning Skiers & Boarders,
Official Bluebird Declaration!!
It was a blizzard yesterday, which means the upper lifts were closed, which means all that snow was just waiting for you this morning. I estimate up to 30+ cm up on top, although nearly nothing accumulated at the base.
It's bright, blue and sunny, with a bit of haze. High temps will be up to about +8 C today, so perfect, perfect spring skiing conditions.
Today is the last day of operation for the Kitanomine side of the resort for this season. From tomorrow until the end of Golden Week (around May 6) you can ski/ride on the Furano side. Tickets are also a bit lower starting tomorrow.
Note that night skiing has finished for the year.
Enjoy. Think snow.
