Morning from Nozawa.
The sun is out and it's going to be a fine day. Lots of people lined up for the first lifts as well, heading up for those first tracks. And why not, indeed.
I bet our favourite bright green skiing vegetable mascot, Naski, will be out and about today.
Quite chilly early on actually this morning but no doubt the sun will be warming things up a bit. Not dramatically though.
It feels quite windy, but hopefully that won't affect anyone's fun.
More of a chance of cloudier skies tomorrow but it will be warmer.
