It's a good morning from Shiga Kogen and after the sun of yesterday we are back to snow falling this morning.

It is a cold morning in Shiga Kogen and I am happy to be able to report 9cm of fresh snowfall on the ground outside my place this morning.

Yesterday it was snowing pretty good in the morning but it eased off and left us with some really blowing winds for lots of the day.

The Takamagahara Mammoth area decided yesterday in the really-not-nice-weather to finish up for the season.

We had just under 10cm of fresh snow yesterday here in Shiga Kogen. What a lovely mid-April surprise and of course most welcome.
