Light snowfall early this morning but it already feels like it is clearing. I can see hints of blue sky in places already...

Lower areas have had some rain but up here in Shiga Kogen we have had a bit of snow. It's definitely on the mild side.

It is still fairly windy and today is forecast to be getting quite mild during the daytime.

It's a cold one and snow is falling and it is still quite windy. Fairly bright so visibility generally looks ok.

It's the last day of the long weekend and those who stuck around will feel very fortunate.

We have a westerly wind still this morning and we are expecting snow to start snowing again this morning.

At 3am this morning Yakebitaiyama was reporting 30cm of fresh snowfall since 4pm yesterday.

It has started snowing early this morning and hopefully the cm will be incoming through the day today. Already 5cm on my car.

Fresh snow overnight amounting to 10-20cm.

First up, worth noting that yesterday Okushiga Kogen was reporting 50-60cm of fresh snowfall. Nice.

It's a proper snowy morning here, I'm pleased to say.

There was some light snow falling earlier on but that has eased off for now, but forecasts still show the chance of snow continuing through tomorrow.

Cloudy start this morning with a few gaps at times. It has been snowing lightly but nothing really significant.

The puzzling kind of weather continues right through until the last day of the year!
