It is cold and light snow is falling this morning.

Good morning from Nozawa and it's a cold and snowy morning.

There's another 6cm of snow to report from the yesterday morning and the resort is reporting 5-7cm with none further overnight.

Check out what the resort are reporting this morning - 55cm of fresh up on Yamabiko, with 10cm during the day yesterday. That's an impressive number.

Morning from Nozawa and just look at that - just under another 40cm of snow being reported by the resort since yesterday on the top Yamabiko area of the resort.

I was just reading the Madarao report and basically it's the same here... sunny, blue skies above the region.

Some more fresh snow this morning though perhaps not as much as expected.
