Good morning from Nozawa.
Some more fresh snow this morning though perhaps not as much as expected. It is still snowing lightly this morning but the local forecast seems to point to clearer skies this afternoon. And tomorrow too, when it should be clear and sunny from the start of the day. A great way to start the weekend.
(The resort seems to be reporting 5cm of fresh from base up to Uenotaira and then 35cm on Yamabiko. I think I'm going to have to get up there myself to check on top number!)
Forecast is looking good for further snow coming in from the end of the weekend and into next week.
