It's cold and there is more snow. And a fair good amount of snow too here at base - I am measuring 18cm of it, there's more and less in surrounding areas.

It is cloudy right now as I look out the window but snow is due today and into tomorrow. Come on!!

I bring you more good news on this Sunday morning with another 8cm of fresh snowfall since the last report.

This is very exciting. I have another 18cm of fresh snowfall to report to you since yesterday.

Hokkaido has been on the receiving end of a very wintery storm and we have some fresh snow. Hurray!

Hello all and good afternoon and welcome back to the Niseko Now reports.

It's Monday 6th May and today is the last day of the official ski season here in the Niseko area.

Fine weather for the day yesterday with mostly blue skies, some white clouds at times.

And.... it has been snowing!

Some cloud around yesterday but largely blue skies until mid afternoon and a nice spring day.

Lovely weather yesterday and it's blue skies from the start again today. Just a few small clouds in places but mostly blue sky and sunshine.

I have some fresh snow to report this morning. Just a bit, but enough to whiten over some of the more 'used-looking' snow close to base.
