Independent snow and weather reporting from the Niseko region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 18cm
Snowfall at base this season 24cm

Posted on Saturday 16th November 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Niseko Now report can be found here

This is very exciting. I have another 18cm of fresh snowfall to report to you since yesterday - and there is more due today, perhaps less tomorrow and then more decent snowfall currently due around mid week. This is all making opening this time next week look very promising.

More people around now as the season is about to kick off, but of course the first part of the season is very different to 'peak season' Niseko.

I'll keep you updated.
