Light snow has stopped at the moment and there's even some blue sky to be seen through the clouds that remain over the area (and there's quite a few of those).

A funny old mix of light snow and some patches of blue sky as I sit here writing this report, but most importantly up to 10cm of fresh since yesterday.

Light snow this morning and the resort reporting 2cm; 1cm here outside my place.

Lots of fog around this morning. I think I'm still in Madarao Kogen, but can't see anything outside for the moment.

We have some fresh snow on the ground and it's a good cold start.

Winter conditions continue this morning with another 15cm being reported by the resort and at least that much at base around my place since yesterday morning.

Good morning from Madarao, where the resort were last night saying that there had been 20cm of snowfall, and this morning apparently another 20cm 'since last night'.

Some fresh on the ground this morning. My trusty ruler says 7cm; the resort reports 10cm from the slopes.

The resort themselves this morning are describing the snow conditions out there as 'corn snow' (thankfully it's not yellow!) and that from now it's time to enjoy spring.

15-20cm of new snow and clearing skies this morning.

Quite wild conditions in the later part of yesterday with strong winds blowing around the snow that was falling.

Lots of cloud around this morning with just 1cm of snow to report. And blue skies opening up now too.

Gorgeous blue skies, sun being very sunny... what a fantastic morning it is, weather wise at least.
