It's going to be a great morning too, as we expected.

Yesterday I said that it should be a good morning - and it most certainly was. Beautiful weather to be outside sliding down the snow.

Very changeable weather conditions continue but it's a happy story this morning... sunny blue skies with Madarao Kogen resort reporting 20-30cm of fresh snow on the mountain.

As expected, it's very mild this morning... +7 degrees warm!

Another 6cm of snow here at base since yesterday and calmer and somewhat clearer conditions as well.

Over 30cm of fresh since last night and really heavy snowfall at times. Like I said, just how we like it - there's been too few of those this season. Let's have some more.

It's a good wintery-like morning this morning. Good and cold, fresh snow on the ground and snow still falling from the sky.

Good morning from Madarao and this morning there's a mix of white/grey cloud and blue sky over the mountain.

Light snow falling from early this morning up here with about 4cm so far with hopefully more building up this morning.

The resort is reporting 20-30cm of fresh snow on the mountain and I can confirm more than 15cm on the top of my car this morning.

After the fine weather yesterday this morning the cloud is back and right now there's a clean line of cloud coming down to about half way down the mountain - decent visibility below, cloud above.

It is a cold morning in Madarao with light snow falling early on.
