It's a fine morning. Just a bit of snow (Madarao ski area reporting 5cm) but blue skies and sunshine as I write this. I was just outside and it's pretty cold too.

Rain has turned into snow and there's some cm on the ground and let us hope for some more. Visibility poor this morning.

There's a bit of sun shining through the mostly cloudy skies this morning. And some more fresh snow. Not a massive amount.

It's the second day of the season for Tangram and the first day for Madarao.

Thanks to the copious amounts of snow that has fallen on our mountain overnight, Tangram Ski Circus is actually able to open as originally planned this morning.

Mountain is white again after some snow yesterday. The sun is out now though and clear blue skies.

The lower section of the ski area is white once again as we have another modest delivery of snow.

As of yesterday the snow we previously had had retreated and we were back to that green/brown look, but this morning it is back to white again with snow overnight.

We are still a way off opening (planned for 18th December) but we have a sprinkling of snow on the mountain that I wanted to share.

Here we are in the last week of November 2021. After a hot summer and (still) beautiful autumn, winter is now just around the corner.

It's Sunday 4th April and the last day of the 2020-2021 winter season here in Madarao.

It looks kind of funky out there this morning with a weird haze looming over us. Not as much as yesterday.

It is looking like today will be a drier and more all round pleasant day today. We even have a very modest thin layer of snow and the trees are looking lovely and frosty, and it feels quite chilly too.
