Hurray!
Thanks to the copious amounts of snow that has fallen on our mountain overnight, Tangram Ski Circus is actually able to open as originally planned this morning... the Number 1 pair and Number 3 and 5 quads are planned to be moving today. The other lifts plan to start their season on 25th December.
Madarao has announced that it will be opening from tomorrow, Sunday 19th December... The ski area is reporting 60cm of fresh snow on the mountain... and an official snow depth of the same number.
The Number 1 lift and Number 2 quad lift will start the season off, open from 8:30am tomorrow morning. 7 courses will be open.
It's a cold morning and snow continues to fall from the skies, so hopefully there'll be more cm on the way through tomorrow.
