Well the morning has started on a very positive note.

The morning started off cloudy and then we were hit with a period of strong sun breaking through the clouds, and now back to full cloud cover.

It is currently snowing lightly here in Furano this Monday morning.

With the dump we had yesterday powder seekers were well catered for all over the mountain.

There is excellent news to report this morning with snow coming down moderately and 12cm of accumulation in the village already.

Yesterday turned out to be a fantastic day with the cloud breaking up early morning and allowing some blue sky and sunshine to break through.
