Good morning from Zao.


Good news. Fresh snow yesterday with 10-20cm in places. A nice surprise and while it might not last long or be enough to cover some icy conditions, it is of course very welcome.


And check out the temperatures reported from summit and base as of 10am -- minus 6 to plus 6. That seems... a big difference! It was definitely cold overnight but is quickly warming up this morning and we expect a warm day today and tomorrow.


Beautiful blue skies this morning.


Let's try not to get too excited but there is actually a bit more snow there on the forecast particularly around mid week.
