Good morning from Zao.


Today is the last day of the ski season here in Zao. The resort has just about managed to keep the Chuo area open until today. Otsukaresama deshita.


The Ropeways here in Zao operate throughout the year for sightseeing, apart from some periods when they are closed for maintenance as noted below:


* Zao Ropeway - closed from 7th May until 23rd May

* Zao Chuo Ropeway - closed for maintenance from 7th May until 24th May

* Zao Sky Cable - closed for maintenance from 25th May until 7th August


Anyway, I hope you enjoyed Zao if you visited during the 2018-2019 ski season. There was once again a noticeable increase in the number of visitors from overseas.
