A sunny day with not much cloud to accompany the unexpected amount of snow last night so smiles all around.
Quite a few people came in for the event last night so it was a bit busier than usual, however, easily absorbed.
Not many about this morning but more likely a late start although the virgin has mostly gone on the main slopes.
There is, however, a fair amount of foot traffic coming to the Zao Ropeway so expect queues there for the first stage. Best to join at the 2nd stage if you're wanting to catch the views from the summit.
A lot of snow came off roofs yesterday. Be wary of being under any which haven't fallen during the day.
