A very Merry Christmas from Zao Onsen.
Snowing again but light and those annoying pin pricks if your face is uncovered.
Wind comes and goes but is likely to pick up later on.
Viz-wise, the Chuo is ok, but upper Uwanodai is murky with that disconcerting feeling of lack of gravity when you can't quite see the ground. A shame as some great powder there. Much higher up and across to Hyakuman is likel to be be denser fog.
Some lifts again are slow in opening e.g. the Mikaeri from Diamon to Chuo and the Katagai triple from Paradise to Chuo.
Have fun and work up that appetite for those who celebrate.
