Earlier on this morning the sun was out and lots of blue sky above Yuzawa but it has quickly been clouding over. It is looking very cloudy just to the north in Minamiuonuma.
For now though the sun is still out over Yuzawa as I type this but we seem destined to have a cloudy day and even some snow a bit later on, though if the forecast is correct it won't be much more than a light dusting.
Temperatures dropped to around -5C overnight and currently are at -1C in town.
A more promising snow event around Thursday but after that another clear and sunny weekend looks like it might be on the cards.
