I'm pretty sure we were - are? - expecting sun this morning, but it has been a very cloudy (gassy) morning so far. It feels like it might be getting lighter, so perhaps we will get our clearer skies sometimes soon.

This weekend is the last of the season for a bunch of ski areas in the area - they are going to just about manage to make it! Ground is becoming predominant in most lower areas now with a noticeable change this week.

Snow cover in higher elevations still remains good.

Weather should generally be fine over the weekend. (However, see: this morning for when forecasts get it wrong). It will almost definitely be rather warm.
