Noisy strong winds blowing about this morning in the region. Most importantly we have another layer of fresh snow to enjoy with the most being reported by Kagura - up to 30cm. More like 15-20cm in town, and the snow is continuing to fall. Very wintery cold temperatures as well, right now it is -5C and it doesn't seem to want to warm up any either.
The Tashiro area of Kagura is closed with limited operations at both the remaining Mitsumata area and also over at Naeba. Here nearer central Yuzawa, Yuzawa Kogen has been closed early on but they hope to get moving if winds allow. Other than that resorts do seem to be open though you might expect some lifts to be operating at reduced speed.
If you go out and brave the weather, should be really good snow out there. If you prefer calmer conditions perhaps tomorrow or Friday is the best option.
