It was cold overnight and some icy conditions on the road this morning. The sun has been out though and the day started off with some nice blue skies over Yuzawa. The sun is still shining down on us though there seems to be more cloud gathering to the north and the forecast does tell us to expect snow clouds to move in and snow to be falling later on.
Right now it is -2C in town.
Snow tonight and tomorrow, followed by a few days of clearer conditions into the weekend. Looks like it might warm up again around Sunday, but that's a while off.
For now, nice conditions out there this Christmas morning.
From us here at SnowJapan World Headquarters in nearby Minamiuonuma, we wish you all the very best for Christmas and the holidays. Hope you can get out to enjoy the snow. Our present to you - a completely new version of SnowJapan - is coming in a few weeks, so look out for that.
