Good news this Christmas Eve morning.
It started snowing yesterday later in the day and this morning the results of that are about 20cm around town and up to an impressive 50cm at Kagura. It's about -2C in the town and not much of a wind at the moment, though stronger winds are forecast for later in the day. The same forecast has us down for snow all day, so lots and lots of it please, then clearing up for tomorrow morning and back tomorrow night.
Conditions will have improved considerably this morning.
After that, there's a run of days of clearer conditions and so today is going to be important.
