Yesterday ended up being wetter than hoped with rain falling on and off, lighter and heavier in places around town, for most of the day and into the evening.
Happily it got colder overnight and there's a sprinkling of snow this morning, not much around town at all but Kagura got up to 20cm on the upper slopes. I haven't been up there to test it but I'd imagine it was on the wet and heavy side, as the snow falling in town is definitely of that variety.
We're still looking for decent snowfall tonight and tomorrow and the snow clouds should be around until around Wednesday, so all hoping for a snowy Christmas.
Tomorrow is a national holiday in Japan and so we can expect weekend-like busy-ness on the slopes.
