Yesterday was a bit of a wild day out there with strong - and often very noisy winds - along with the snowfall and cold conditions. No doubt more than a few people decided to make it an onsen day and hope that today would be better weather-wise.
And better it is. The sun is out and we have some blue sky above. The forecast has snow clouds lingering this morning but they seem to have mostly moved on and clearer skies are going to prevail. For the next few days as well by the looks. It is a cold start to the day today but milder conditions are due over the weekend (when we might even get some rain, but we'll try not to think about that just now).
With the snowfall of the last few days though, we have enough snow for places to be either close to or completely open. The link up between the Yuzawa Kogen, Gala Yuzawa and Ishiuchi Maruyama resorts is now also open.
It should be very fine out there today.
