Yesterday was a really warm one... didn't even feel cold up on the mountains.
Thankfully we look like we are headed back into winter weather. Snow started falling early this morning and there's 5-10cm or so in places now on the ground. It's eased off just for the moment but due to be with us for the day.
At the moment it is about 0C but temps are due to drop through the day. Stronger and noisy winds are starting to happen as well, though at the moment that is not affecting the skijo around town and all seem to be open as normal.
About 10cm is due before 4pm today according to the local Niigata forecast so perhaps it's tonight and tomorrow when we can expect the full on conditions. We'll see. Definitely looks like tomorrow is going to be snowy and windy though for those planning a weekend. Less so on Sunday.
Lots of snow please!
