Good morning from Yuzawa.

No fresh snow for a while now...

Whisper voice: Heard some rain falling late last night and early morning.

Normal voice: Right now, it's a largely cloudy morning, but the sun is breaking through in places.

I can't find any news of snowfall at higher elevations from any official sources, though the GALA webcam shows what looks like a dusting on the roof of the main quad. Maybe a cm or two?

Today we might get to see some snow on the mountains (don't expect much) with the chance of sleet/rain in town later. So that sun breaking through might not last long.

Tomorrow seems like the better chance for some 'proper' snow. Let's have it!

Always find it amusing (or some other words) how some ski areas describe the snow conditions on their slopes using exactly the same descriptive wording today as they did on days when we got 40+cm of fresh snow.

Hmmm... no.
