Now this is better!
After the wet of yesterday, we are back to snow this morning. Kagura is reporting 30cm of fresh snow and here in town I'd say there's 15cm or so, give or take. It is colder too with temperatures down to around -3C in the town here and unlikely to rise much above that during the day today. It was calm overnight but there's a moderate wind as well blowing around now, though a quick look round the resorts and it doesn't seem to be affecting lift operations. That could of course change.
Anyway snow lined up for today and into tomorrow so the more the better. I'll update this page later this morning once the local Niigata snowfall forecast has been released.
Updated: 10-15cm forecast before this evening.
