This morning light snow is falling high up at Kagura, but it is raining in town and in lower areas. Lots of the snow that was around last week has now unfortunately gone. So not what I wanted to report this morning, but we are hoping that it will be snowing before long as the temperatures drop as the day moves on and snow is likely into tomorrow as well. The forecasts don't seem to be predicting huge dumpage though. I wish I could bring more exciting news this morning.
Some of the resorts that are part open around town level are somewhat struggling with a thin base.
No need to worry though, we are still in mid-December - it's still early days. And we all know how the snow can and does fall in this area once it gets going properly. It probably won't be long before some (silly) people hope for it to stop snowing!
