Yesterday GALA were busy moving snow around and are back open this morning with the same four courses open. Snow is getting thin on the ground, especially (by the looks of the webcams) on Gigi. They are doing their best to hang on, but nature holds most of the cards. I expect some kind of announcement regarding an early closing date sometime in the next week. (That is a personal opinion and not based on any inside information).
Kagura is also back open this morning, with both Ropeway bases available.
Weather wise we have had some rain until early morning and roads are damp but it should be cloudy and then eventually sunny today. Early on there's some limited visibility at both Gala and Kagura.
Clear and sunny skies are forecast for tomorrow from early morning.

Lifts operating: Gondola, Sociable quad, Barouche quad and Coach pair lift (Central Area only).
Courses open: Entertainment, Gigi, Edelweiss, Grenoble
The planned closing date is Wednesday 6th May (but the ski area is unlikely to be able to stay open that long)

Official snow depth:
Top: 250cm
Base: 150cm
Notes:
Lifts: 12 of 17 lifts remain open with both Mitsumata Ropeway and Tashiro Ropeway bases open.
Courses open: 27 of 30, according to the website this morning
The Tashiro Area (and Tashiro Ropeway) plans to be open until 7th May.
The Kagura Area (via Mitsumata Ropeway) plans to be open until Sunday 17th May.
