Yesterday remained cloudy/foggy/gassy for longer than expected, but this morning it is clear blue skies from early on. A beautiful morning and we expect fine weather tomorrow.
Today we should see a high temp of around 16C in town and it'll get over 20C tomorrow.
A shout out to the snow maintenance and grooming team at Gala Yuzawa. They always seem to offer very nicely groomed runs up there, and are currently dealing with their remaining snow really admirably. I have noticed lights on up there in recent evenings - they are clearly doing all they can to keep the open runs in the best shape possible. Gambatte!

Courses open: Entertainment, Gigi, Edelweiss, Grenoble.
The planned closing date is Wednesday 6th May.

Lifts: 12 of 17 lifts remain open with both Mitsumata Ropeway and Tashiro Ropeway bases open.
Courses open: 27 of 30, according to the website this morning.
The Tashiro Area (and Tashiro Ropeway) plans to be open until 7th May.
The Kagura Area (via Mitsumata Ropeway) plans to be open until Sunday 17th May.
