After that partial clear up yesterday morning, the clouds were back and we endured some at times heavy rain at times later on.
It is a largely cloudy morning and while it isn't raining just now outside, the roads remain wet. Today is due to be mostly cloudy with a chance of some breaks in the cloud. Currently just under 7C in town.
Hopefully tomorrow will be fine and sunny and pleasantly warm.
Three more days left at Kandatsu Snow Resort. From Monday, we'll be down to GALA Yuzawa and Kagura.

GALA Yuzawa

Four lifts are operating (Diligence gondola, Barouche quad, Coach pair and Victoria quad)
Four courses in the Central Area are open (Entertainment, Edelweiss, Gigi and Grenoble)
Four courses in the Northern Area are open (Broadway, Super Broadway, Swan and Super Swan)
The Quest Snow Park in the Northern Area is open
The Falcon downhill course is still (mostly) open, with access via the tunnel close to the Cheers base
Spring season operating times are 8:00am until 4:00pm

Official snow depth: 400cm (top) / 320cm (base)
Both bases (Mitsumata Ropeway and Tashiro Ropeway) are open
All sections of Kagura are open with 27 of 30 runs available and 12 lifts operating
The top Number 5 lift at Kagura will be open until Sunday 13th April
The Dragondola lift connection between Tashiro and Naeba ski area is now closed for the season
The Ropeways are both open from 8:00am until 4:30pm (last one up at 3:00pm)

Planned closing date (Kagura via Mitsumata Ropeway): Sunday 18th May 2025
