Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Some pretty rough weather around Wednesday but the Route 292 connecting us with Gunma is now open. That means you can get to the base of Shibutoge, too.
A fine morning and it will be warming up too.
Hopefully we will have some fairly nice weather over Golden Week, though some forecasts show the chance of some light rain at times.
Ski area planned closing dates
Below are the planned closing dates of ski areas in Shiga Kogen. In the late season, ski areas often scale back operations and/or may be closed on weekdays or on certain days. All the dates below are the planned dates and they are subject to change due to snow conditions.
Plans to be open until 6th May:
Ichinose Family (daily)
Yakebitaiyama (daily)
Okushiga Kogen (daily)
