It might be raining lower down in the valley, but up here in Shiga Kogen it is a cold, snowy and windy morning.


There's a modest covering of snow around the roads here.


I am guessing that the folks over at Yokoteyama and Kumanoyu will be busy checking various things right now, but there are no ski area announcements to report just yet.
