Lovely light and dry snow falling again in Shiga Kogen this cold morning.
And another very decent amount of fresh snow as well. Snowfall is forecast to continue through tomorrow.
I am really liking this season. I was just looking at the numbers (see bottom of this report and the Snowfall Analysis page) - by the end of January last year I had reported 316cm of snowfall. Until today, I have recorded 627cm! So this season I have observed almost double the amount of snow as last season... and we're not at the end of January yet.
Let's hope the rest of the season continues to deliver.
